Important Information Concerning the Cancellation of the
4th Annual District Career Fair

Our entire state is currently experiencing budget cuts and all school districts are seriously affected. For school year 2008-2009, we are anticipating an even more critical budget situation which will impact our schools' hiring needs. In anticipation of this bleak financial situation, our administration has decided to cancel the 4th Annual District Career Fair which was scheduled for June 20, 2008.

To assist our principals in filling instructional vacancies for the 2008-2009 school year, we have created a 2008-2009 Instructional Registry that will serve as a hiring resource.  You must complete the registration form to be included on the instructional registry.  A link to this form is found below.  We will be accepting information from instructional candidates until the close of business on June 1, 2008.  It is anticipated that the 2008-2009 Instructional Registry will be provided to our principals on July 1, 2008.  Note:  If you previously registered and sent an invitation, you will automatically be included on the registry.

**Please note that the information provided on the registration form will be reviewed and verified by our certification specialists.  If your teaching eligibility for the 2008-2009 school year cannot be verified, your name will not be included on the registry.

Before completing the below form, please review the information requested to make sure it is easily accessible so that you can complete the registration accurately and as thoroughly as possible.  In addition, you may wish to review our certification website to ensure you have met the No Child Left Behind Requirements (NCLB).

Please be aware that you must have a completed application on file or in the process of completion to apply for any position with Brevard Public Schools. You may download an application from our website (Download Employment Application), or you may complete the application online (Online Application), or request to have one mailed to you.  It is your responsibility to follow up to verify the completeness of your application after mailing it to us.
